Deborah Melman-Clement is an experienced, versatile, award-winning writer with a passion for persuasive communication. Since 2015 she has been the senior development writer at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, where she has made it her mission to transform the craft of development communications. Before committing full-time to development writing, Deborah was a multi-media journalist and corporate communications consultant with clients across Canada and around the world. When she’s not writing, she is usually playing tennis or soccer. She does the Globe and Mail’s cryptic crossword puzzle every day, and she was a one-day Jeopardy champion in 2006.  Cause & Effect is her first podcast.
